The 2014 NEDMA Annual Conference was a day to remember.
Like last year’s conference, the event offered informative sessions, a diverse collection of exhibitors, and a large group of marketers from all over New England. This year, the conference at Bentley University featured speakers from over 20 organizations and brought in a record number of attendees.
Here are some of the highlights that we’re still talking about here at Overdrive.
Overdrive Interactive’s CEO Harry Gold kicked off the conference with his session “Digital and Direct Mail: Turning the Virtual into the Physical with Marketing Automation.”
Harry’s presentation featured helpful information to marketers on translating physical marketing techniques to a digital platform (in addition to several Star Wars references to satisfy everyone’s inner geek).
Harry’s session packed the room!
Overdrive’s Director of Social Media Bob Cargill during the session “Social Media Strategies, Shortcuts, and Secrets.” The panel discussion also featured Britt Teravainen of Boathouse Group and Victoria Smith of Amergent.
Victoria Smith spoke about how she used social media to promote her music. She finished up the session with one of her original songs.
Ellen and her Oscar selfie got nothing on Overdrive! After the session, Bob took this epic selfie with members of the audience.
Eric Wholley (VP and Director of Marketing and new Business) speaking to an interested attendee at Overdrive’s booth in the main exhibit hall.
