Facebook introduced on Wednesday the newest way to turn visitors to your website into fans. It’s an embeddable fan page, called a “Fan Box,” that you can install on your website so visitors can see your Facebook page updates directly on your site. Now users don’t even have to visit Facebook to become a fan of your page.
If you are a fan page admin, you will now see an “Add Fan Box to your site” link under your page’s logo. From there, you can simply cut and paste the code into your website. This fan box will display the page’s latest updates and pictures of fans (the last of which is optional). Facebook users can also become a fan of your page right from this widget by clicking “Become a fan.”
