In an announcement today, Instagram said it would support not only square posts, but those that are formatted as either portrait or landscape as well.
To choose an orientation other than square, all you need to do is tap the format icon and make your selection.
Having three format options for photos and videos instead of one is sure to be a welcome change for Instagram’s 300 million users.
