A proven CEO and 25 year digital marketing veteran, Murray will lead Overdrive through the next stage of its evolution, including defining the agency’s new strategic direction and driving product innovation. He brings a track record of leading agency teams through significant growth transformations – including CEO roles at iProspect and 3Q Digital, which evolved to become industry-leading global digital marketing agencies under his leadership.

Murray succeeds Overdrive co-founder and CEO, Harry Gold, who will be transitioning into a Board role. Overdrive was acquired by Capitala Group in January of 2022, providing the strategic capital to fuel the agency’s growth and competitive advantage in the evolving digital marketing landscape.

Most recently Murray led U.S. growth and operations as CEO, Growth for the Americas & Partner at DEPT, which merged with 3Q Digital in 2022. As CEO and President of 3Q Digital, he led the agency’s evolution from a performance marketing agency to a leading global growth marketing agency by bringing proven Silicon Valley methodologies to enterprise brand marketers across the globe. As Global CEO of iProspect, Murray led the agency from inception through its transformation into a global performance marketing agency with over 1,700 employees in 55 offices across 40 countries.
Murray’s experience also includes executive leadership and advisory roles at Skyword, Boston Consulting Group, and Jebbit. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from the Honors Program at Boston College School of Management and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. Murray is a Board Member at Acceleration Partners and Skydeo.
