Website Design Themes
The website design theme and imagery were focused on empathy and strength, balancing and reflecting the relationship of business owners to workers who would be relying on their employer and CompSource Mutual should an injury occur while on the job.
Site Map
A new site map was developed based on extensive competitor research, the current website, new content, and direction, and the different audience experiences and usages for the site.
Wireframes
Wireframes were laid out for the most prominent pages and page templates to aid in content development efforts and organization. An evolved mega menu structure that allowed for content and contact CTAs in the nav was also developed.
Icon Development
A refreshed and expansive icon set was developed as part of the site redesign to help visually direct audience members to the services and industry pages that pertained to them.
Homepage Concepts
After wireframe approval, Overdrive created three concepts for the homepage, making prominent use of existing brand elements in the designs to create a new, refreshed look for the site.
CMS and Martech Development
Overdrive’s development process ensured smooth integrations for the client’s MarTech stack (marketing technologies), as well as making it easier for the client to edit pages and create new ones using tools that dramatically speed up the process. With a focus on responsive design, Overdrive created customized templates to tell CompSource’s story from top to bottom, rather than the generalized templates of the past.
Landing Page Creation
With the new website now in place, action-oriented landing pages were developed to support future paid search and digital campaigns.
